Pregnancy Loss Care Baskets
Did you know that in the United States, 1 in 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage and approximately 1 in every 175 births end in stillbirth? Studies show that about 1/3 of women experience symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) following these events. Despite these astonishing numbers, women not only leave the hospital with empty arms but often with little to no support and guidance on how to move forward. This experience can be very traumatic, leaving bereaved mothers feeling very alone and isolated. The loss of a baby can affect one’s sense of self, the relationship with their physical body, relationships with others, faith, and mental health (among many other things).
I strongly believe that the most important aspects in supporting bereaved mothers who are attempting to adapt to life after loss, consists of the following: rebuilding the relationship to self & the physical body, finding community in shared experiences, and permission to maintain a relationship with baby. Bereaved mothers also need access to available resources to be able to seek additional support if needed. The care baskets I have meticulously created, will help support women as they begin this journey.
The baskets contain the following:
personalized letter from one loss mom to another
supportive resources
DoorDash gift card
pregnancy loss book
grief journal/pen
box of tissues
blanket
memorial candle
dried lavender/healing crystals
personalization of basket (upon request)
“This basket made me cry happy tears, and brought some comfort on one of the darkest days. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
“I just wanted to say ‘thank you’ for the heartwarming message in the letter included in the basket. This is such a big help for me, especially in this time of my life.”

Personalized Basket Requests
Request a care basket for a loved one. This allows family and friends to show their love and support for someone during their time of grief when they may not know what to do or say. (Personalization of the basket and additional custom items will support each unique loss.)
